Happened to hear about this performance from the show sponser's mailing list, but I put my name down on your list so I'm sure to hear about the next time you're out this way, which I hope is soon.

Hanneke, I first heard you at the Portland Highland Games competition (1997?), a performance I still remember! I only recently heard about your activities since. Ryan and Cali were here a few days ago and performed "Hanneke's Wedding Song", although they were careful to explain that Ryan has composed it well in advance of any such event! It was beautiful. By the way, I tried to hear samples from your website, but there wasn't anything to click on. Best wishes!

Listening to CD on my motorcylce, sun is shining.
You should play for contra dances as well. Some of your scottish fiddle influence reminds me of Elke Baker (hope that is OK) . Try these web sites for NC contra dance fiddlers: http://www.elftones.com/ http://www.main.nc.us/drumdance/LF/index.htm http://www.rayna.utopiandesign.com/ I know contra dance doesn't pay as well as national tours but it is so much fun! Saw/heard you last night with Cathie Ryan. I'm biased (inclined toward the violin), but I thought you stole the show...in my purely subjective opinion. You are an amazing violinist! Thank you for a great show and look forward to when you will be back in Michigan....hopefully, for your sake, not in the winter. ;-) Take care, all good things.

Love all the tracks. Clear, soaring, from the heart. This music resonates with the strings of our life energy... Turn up the volume...check it out.
Been meaning to send a note all summer... Thanks for the recommendation at fiddle camp in Tennessee this past spring. What an amazing experience. you and Victor deserve awards for your teaching AND for the last evening concert/show...the lost and found fashion show...You are an inspiration. This album had me in tears most of the way across Tennessee on the way home to WV.

Hi there, love the album. is there an email address we can use to contact about booking for a weekend? We were thinking of a Friday noght & Saturday night community concert and then as part of our church on Sunday morning. We are in Boise and thought we might be able to work something after San Fran. We are in the brainstorming stages, but just wanted to get info. thanks - matt (presson@fcbcboise.org)

Track #9-Bruremarsj ends abruptly as if the engineer didn't review his work before finalizing the master. What a shame! Otherwise, a fine mix of traditional and contemporary creativity.

Great production! I love how real the fiddle sounds; of course it's real, but so many cd's sound sterile. Come thou fount was huge for me, I've started using it as a regular worship tune for the college Bible study I teach on Tuesdays. Thanks for beautiful music.
I'm a friend of Leila from church in Portland. We met last time you were in town on tour. Hopefully, we'll see you at the Dublin. God bless!
